Delanyo Mensah is a rising junior at Vanderbilt University from Athens, Ohio. She is currently studying Human and Organizational Development on the Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness track. Delanyo is deeply passionate about using her unique voice and talents to empower others of diverse backgrounds to do the same. In the future, Delanyo sees herself in a career where she is able to leverage her creativity in furthering diversity, equity, and inclusion. At Vanderbilt, Delanyo is a Curb Scholar for Art, Enterprise, and Public Policy. This school year, Delanyo will serve as Corresponding Secretary of the Mu Rho Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., in addition to being a photographer for STRIKE Nashville, Greek Inclusivity Alliance representative, and member of the Vanderbilt African Student Union. Over the summer, Delanyo was a Human Resource intern at Dimensional Fund Advisors in Charlotte, North Carolina working on Diversity and Inclusion initiatives.
