Youssef Hasweh, 20, is a Palestinian/ Moroccan first-generation college student at the University of Chicago. Born and raised in Brooklyn, Youssef has developed a student-led higher education advocacy platform with over 100K followers where he shares resources regarding college equity and access. He has become a 5x scholarship founder before his junior year while helping thousands of students achieve more. Currently, Youssef works at TikTok as 1 of 10 Community Leaders nominated by TikTok Community Managers to participate in the Diversity Collective. As a member of the Diversity Collective, he advocates for creators in his communities. Frequently ideating ideas to ensure TikTok is a leader in diversity, equity, and inclusion.
